What do we know about you? Nothing.

Watchin has no account of its own, no server and no third-party SDK. Your data lives in your Trakt account and, as a cache, on your device. Nowhere else.

Frequently asked questions.

Is Watchin free?

Yes. Watchin is free, with no ads. If an optional subscription is offered one day, it will be sold through the App Store and shown clearly before any purchase.

Do I need a Trakt account?

Yes. Watchin is an app for Trakt: that is where your history and lists live. An account is free on trakt.tv.

Can I watch movies in Watchin?

No. Watchin neither streams nor hosts any video. It tells you where a title is available and opens that service, which you use with your own subscription.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or iPadOS 26, and Mac with macOS 26, or later.

What do you do with my data?

Nothing, because we never receive it. Watchin has no server: the app talks directly to Trakt and to the catalogue services. The privacy policy details every exchange.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. It all lives in your Trakt account, which has its own export. Watchin can also export your history, ratings and lists in Letterboxd’s format.
